Our Hope & Wellness Circle is starting! Our first meeting will be on Monday, May 16th, 7pm-8:15pm, via Zoom.

Come join us, in the comfort of your home, and be in community with others who are facing mental health challenges or are caring for loved ones who are. Our desire and goal is to provide a safe, supportive space to help ensure that no one feels alone in his or her struggle.
In our experience, sharing each other’s stories can be a liberating and welcome break in the silence that surrounds mental illness and mental health challenges. You’re invited to speak and be heard in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment, where isolation and stigma dissipate as a supportive community is created.

Forming in May: Hope & Wellness Circle
Inspired by Pope Francis’ invitation for a synodal, listening church and one that journeys together, the mental health ministry of St Simon Parish, Hope & Wellness, is interested in introducing a “drop-in” monthly gathering.
Our meetings will be 1 hour and 15 minutes long plus an optional 15 minutes of social before/after the meeting. We will be in person or via zoom, depending on the results of the poll.

We know that Jesus was surrounded by 12 apostles, and they journeyed together. Like Jesus, we are meant to live in community with one another.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
– Hebrews 10:24-25
“Finally, brothers and sisters, Rejoice! Strive for restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.”
– 2 Corinthians 13:11
