Helping Hands

If you are a parishioner family who would benefit from the support of Helping Hands, please contact the parish rectory at 650-880-1401, or email helpinghands@stsimon.org.

The St. Simon Helping Hands group helps to prepare food for parishioners in need. We prepare meals for individuals that are sick or for families that are caring for a sick loved one. We support our Funeral Ministry by providing salads and desserts for funeral receptions at our parish. We support occasional parish receptions.

St. Simon Helping Hands is a wonderful way to volunteer your time to our community without having to spend time away from your own home and family. It is a great way to include your children in the support ministries of our parish.

Helping Hands springs into action via email requests to the volunteers who sign up to be on the email-tree. Kelly Mibach, the Helping Hands Coordinator, sends out very detailed information about needs, and ministers sign up to provide food items by responding to her email request. To become a member of Helping Hands, please contact us at helpinghands@stsimon.org or call the Rectory, 650-880-1401.

If you are a member of this ministry, please be sure to keep us informed if your email address or phone number changes.
