“Are any among you suffering?  They should pray.  Are any cheerful? They should sing songs of praise.  Are any among you sick?  They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord…pray for one another, so that you may be healed.  The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.”

James 5: 13:14,16

Our belief in the power and effectiveness of prayer is central to our faith.

Silent Prayer Partners is a ministry where a group of people add prayer intentions to their daily personal prayer list.  Some say rosaries for the intended and others pray for healing and peace, or whatever was requested.

If you would like to join our group to pray for others, please email prayerpartners@stsimon.org or contact Rachel Haydon, Communications Coordinator ph: 650-880-1411.

Parishioners may seek prayers for themselves or for others.  If you seek the support of our community to pray on your behalf, please email your intention request to prayerpartners@stsimon.org
