For the first time, St. Simon is hosting an evening of Jazz Vespers—and what a way to kick-off our annual retreat: Flourish.Meredith Augustin is joined by six-time GRAMMY Award-winning pianist, composer, and producer Shedrick Mitchell, whose musical journey has taken him from church piano benches to stages alongside Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, and Samara Joy.

Together, Meredith and Shedrick will fill the evening with voice, piano, and the freedom of jazz: songs that make us feel, moments of improvisation, and music that gives us space to listen. Come experience the beauty and possibility of An Evening for the Soul as our parish community gathers for the opening night of Flourish.
