St. Simon Parish Retreat | October 30–31

What does it mean to truly flourish…in our faith, in our relationships, and as a community?

That question sits at the heart of Flourish, a parish retreat hosted by St. Simon Parish in Los Altos on Friday and Saturday, October 30–31, 2026. The retreat is open to everyone across the Diocese of San José: parishioners, school families, longtime retreatants, and people who have never made a retreat before.

Flourish is designed for people whose lives rarely leave room to pause. There is no travel and no overnight stay; participants spend Friday evening and Saturday on the St. Simon campus and sleep in their own beds. The invitation is simple: come as you are, make some room, and discover what God might be inviting to flourish in you and among us.

It begins Friday evening, October 30, with dinner and a special evening of music. Learn more about An Evening for the Soul  here. On Saturday, October 31, we will gather at 9:15 AM for coffee and continue with inspiring presentations, meaningful conversation, prayer, uplifting music, and experiences both indoors and outdoors. We will share lunch together and conclude our retreat with the 5:00 PM Mass. 

Throughout the weekend, there will be opportunities to participate, time for quiet reflection, and space to simply be present. And, of course, there will be wonderful food and plenty of time to enjoy one another.

Childcare will be available Saturday for children preschool through 8th grade, and middle school students may volunteer to earn service hours. Financial assistance is available; please call 650-880-1422.
