Return to Joy: A Lenten Mission with Brother Mickey McGrath
Return to Joy: A Lenten Mission with Brother Mickey McGrath
March 2, 3 & 4 | 7:00 PM | Church
All three evenings are free and open to everyone. Come for one night or join us for the full journey.
This Lent, let’s journey together and find our way back to love and joy.
Join us for three inspiring evenings with Brother Mickey McGrath, OSFS — renowned artist, storyteller, and spiritual guide. Through his unique blend of art, reflection, and imagination, Brother Mickey will lead us deeper into our parish Lenten theme: Return to Joy: Untying the Knots of Life.
Accompanied by our own Meredith Augustin, Liturgy & Music Director, these evenings will weave together story, song, and sacred practice as we explore the tangled places in our lives where God is already at work, turning burdens into beauty and struggles into signs of grace.
Throughout Lent, simple knotted cords placed in our pockets, cars, kitchens, or prayer spaces become gentle reminders to pause, breathe, and refocus when life feels busy or overwhelming. They remind us we don’t have to figure everything out alone. Sometimes we simply stop for a moment, invite God into it, and keep going. No special prayer. No pressure. Just a small pause that helps us return to what matters.
As we enter this season of reflection — whether we are letting go of something, taking something on, or simply making space for God — come ready to be surprised by joy.
